Great design and oh my what a beautiful ring! I love everything about it and from every side. Now you truly live up to your name!!!! All the luck in the world on your proposal (like your really going to need it!
). And don''t forget to take tons of pictures of that beauty on her finger!
Wow, you did a fabulous jub!! She will absolutely love it. I love the asschers down the sides and the antique look of it. Good luck on your proposal and don''t forget the hand shots!!!
OMG - I am totally a round cut girl, but that ring is AMAZING
I LOVE the setting - its unique and antiquey-looking but also classic and sophisticated - I''m sure she will just love it - I don''t see how she could not!!
Wow! Thanks for all the kind remarks. I put in a lot of time and effort on making this unique and special (designed the setting myself). Judging from the comments from all the ladies, I think she will love it!
Strmrdr... as the resident asscher expert, what do you think of the center stone? Some folks had suggested that they were concerned about the P&S being G/G. I think it looks great. What do you think?
As far as when ya''ll will get to see hand shots, it could be a couple of months. But I promise I''ll post some when she finally gets it!
Here is what is so great about the ring- the center stone really stands out and gets all the attention at first. Then you notice the rows of ashers on the shoulder- and that detail is visually arresting - AND beautifully executed. Then, the overall symmetry and balance are very pleasing. The v is definitely a nice touch- it calms the design down a little bit with the strong line and some simplicity within the overall ring.
THEN you have all the diamonds on the sides, the engraving etc.
YET the ring does not look too busy AT ALL.
There is really a lot going on.
I am sure this will provide her with much pleasure. It is delightful!
congratulations to you both!
