My FI proposed on Tuesday with a gorgeous X-Factor in WF's Legato Sleek Line setting. It wasn't a surprise because I picked it out, hehe, but it still blew me away nonetheless! We went with WF because I found these forums about a month ago when I really started looking at diamonds and settings, and I saw all of the great experiences that everyone has had with them. Our experience was no different - we worked with Jamie who was so helpful, quick to respond to emails, and just really made this whole thing very stress-free and easy to do. The hardest part was waiting for the ring to arrive!
Talk about 2 torturous weeks! Thankfully, my wonderful FI proposed the day it came in.
I was originally looking at princess cuts but I saw the X-Factor and really fell in love with it, so I went with that instead. I am sooo happy I did! I found the diamond that we ended up ordering, and I knew it was the one. Called up WF to make sure it was totally eye-clean and to see how the color was (if it was a strong or a weak H) and then we placed the order that same night.
I was a little concerned with getting an H (I had wanted an F or G originally) but WF assured me that it was very white, and they were totally right. I cannot see any tint whatsoever, and to be honest, I have never seen such a white, sparkly diamond. Nether has anyone else that I've shown it to!
