I really like the mounting to... it almost looks like a little crown with the little diamonds between the prongs.

The proposal was wonderful. We were on vacation in Victoria. We had a nice dinner on the harbor and several glasses of wine. We walked out of the restaurant to a horse drawn carriage. We hopped on a cuddled up close. About 5 mins into it, we were in front of the beautifully lit Parlement building. He started talking about our first date and how he knew then. The next thing I knew he was on his knee. I was in tears and couldn''t remember much right after, except he asked if that meant yes. I guess I forgot to answer. I also hadn''t even looked at the ring he had slipped on my finger.

Thanks! I actually don''t know the specs. It is now a 3 1/2. It wasn''t in those photo''s... I now have it back sized. I will let you guys know the specs as soon as I find out. I just know he said he got the clearest diamond possible.

Thank you for the wonderful comments. I just got back from being out of town and showing it off a little. I''ve never been a big jewelry person, but I can''t stop staring at my ring. It doesn''t hurt that it means I will be marrying the love of my life.
