Just confirming I'm on the right track - diamond aset etc

I have bought one of these stones (let's call the left A, B on right), then I found the other this morning and wondered if I should switch as it has a better clarity grade.

Depends on colour, price, size. Ask BG if the one you got (presumably B with the central inclusion is eye clean). If it is, to your definition, and the price is significantly higher to get A then is it really worth it? If you ever want to upgrade with BG you'll have to upgrade on parts of the 4 C's, so if you can get away with a lower clarity now, great.

Same colour, only .001 difference in size. Both BGB. A couple of hundred more for the higher clarity one - B. I have ordered the one on the left. I had to double check I had them in the right order - but yes the VS2 is on the right. I have the S1 on the left which they have assured me is eye clean.

The one on the right has seems to have a central inclusion and if they're eye clean I prefer the one on the left from the limited information I have. Assuming diffuse clouds aren't the primary inclusion (particularly if it has been vetted by BG) I would stick with the one on the left purely to simply upgrades in the future for yourself.

I can tell you that I had a 1.81 ct VS2 stone with a couple of very small black crystals under the table and I NEVER saw them unless I was looking from the side from like 3 inches away. I never saw them to be bothered by them but I do understand the uncertainty and wanting 'mind clean' and going for the left - even if it is an SI1 bc it looks mighty clean and I'm sure BG vets for cloudiness/transparency issues.

Clarity/inclusions aside...I do think the images and the cut on the left stone look slightly better than the right. Table looks smaller and arrows slightly fatter, which I also prefer. As someone else mentioned, it would also be easier to upgrade in the future since it's an SI1.
