I won’t make this long, but I just wanted to give a HUGE, public THANK YOU to Jonathon at GOG for ALL of his help the past few months in my search for ‘the perfect diamond’ (at least perfect for me and my gal!). Through every interaction I had with him and his staff, I was consistently and constantly impressed…no, make that blown away, by their level of customer service and dedication to their clients. Not once did I feel pressured to buy, and every question I posed was answered in detail with the utmost care and respect. Rhino’s responsiveness, kindness and friendship became something I greatly appreciated and cherished as my search continued to find ‘the one.’

Unfortunately, ‘the one’ ended up being in the possession of another dealer (another great one at that at least!). It was bittersweet when I purchased the stone that I will one day give to my girlfriend (it’s only a few weeks away!). I was elated b/c I’d finally found the stone after months of searching, but I was saddened that I couldn’t give my business to GOG.

You know…I think that it says a TON about a business when one of their BIGGEST fans is someone who hasn’t even been an actual ‘customer’ of theirs. GOG is amazing, and I wish nothing but the best for Jonathon and his entire team. Someday when I’m back in the market for a diamond (not for an e-ring of course…just for more ICE for the wife!) you can bet GOG will be at the top of my list.

As for the ring I did buy, my review (and some pics I’m sure) will be posted once I receive the ring and she says YES!

Jon, and many other vendors who participate here, seem to get the fact that losing out a sale to someone else, while dissappointing, will most likely result in a future sale or better yet, a bunch of referrals. So it really helps to treat all their customers with patience and respect.

Plus, it may be that he really is just... nice?
