I know it is nothing new for PS but it is a huge departure from my norm and I have to say I am so excited to wear it.
Dreamer has talked a lot about the extra sparkle you get from multiple stones (like her fab new aurora band) and I have experienced this with my seven stone. I couldn't quite figure out why I didn't get so much of a thrill from my solitaire. As usual, DD was spot on in her observation.
I have always wanted a 2+ carat but I do not think by adding a further $10k to get an extra 0.4mm would have given me the look I craved. So this was my solution. If I do change at some stage in my life( and I will never rule this out), I will have the most beautiful setting to place a coloured stone.
I also fear that with the rise of the wonderful Victor Canera he may soon be out of my price range. So this way I will have a truly heirloom worthy setting to pass on to my daughter one day.
