I know this place is a wonderful family atmosphere, and I am truly touched by all the comments and good wishes.

I do not have hand shots to share, she lives in California and I am here in Boise, but perhaps it will happen this weekend when she is home for the engagement party.

And yes, as a father I was very excited and even six months later I am very emotional about the ring, his insistence in getting such a fine diamond, and more importantly how supportive and loving he is with her. I could not be happier with her choice of men and I know his mom and dad feel the same way about her.

That this was the first Vatche Grace to be made for a princess cut diamond was just a little icing on the cake, the real prize was having my princess meet such an extraordinary man to be her husband. It is the sort of thing a Dad prays for while he watches his "baby girl" grow up and become a woman so much like her mother. Both her mom and I feel so blessed by these two wonderful young adults.

Having been married to her mom for thirty-six years now, I know how truly lucky her fiance is too. This is a young lady with staying power and the smarts to truly help him as he advances in his career. She has her own career too and I expect wonderful things from both of them.

Okay, I am going back to the lurking mode on this thread before I get too sappy...
