Thanks for all the comments.I shared your replies with Angela last night and she was smiling ear to ear.She has confessed to browsing PS to have a ‘window on my (other) world’ but I don’t know how often she's made it to Who’s Who.

Congrats John!!! i went and downloaded firefox just so I could view the slideshow, and then I saw that you posted that actual link later. Oh well.

Anyway, loved the pics of the proposal! I especially love how surprised Angela looked in three of the pictures. You could see the expression on her face going from "What the hell is he doing?" to "OMG, is this really happening?" to "IT IS!! IT IS REALLY HAPPENING!!" The look on her face was priceless.

Congratulations again to the both of you, you two make an adorable couple!

John, what I love most about your proposal was that it involved your family. When you marry someone, like it or not, you marry a family. It is so wonderful that yours was involved in this incredibly sweet, thoughtful proposal! Angela went along with it, which speaks volumes about the quality of her character. I have been busy with my relocation to Melbourne in Nov 2006. Been here for a few months already and starting to get used to the slower pace compared to singapore''s working life. Not sure if it''s good or bad??

My husband will be joining me in less than 2 week''s time as he had to stay behind to tie up loose ends, resigning from his company at DNV and also to settle the sale of our flat. He will be starting his Masters Program at Monash University doing R&D in Materials Engineering. That will be a 2 year full time course and I will be the bread winner..so no more diamonds for me...

Managed to meet jadeleaves in Jan before she went back to Singapore with her cute baby to vist her parents and to celebrate Chinese New Year. Saw her diamond rings and setting done by Mark Morwell (sp?)..wow! another beautiful setting and excellent workmanship.

Hope you will share with us the wedding pictures. And before I forget, I like the outdoor BBQ pit you had created next to the pool.. looks pretty kool.
