Besides the star, I''m fascinated by the way this stone''s appearance changes. The color is like the sky, from stormy to cloudy to wispy to summer blue. The stone also is much more translucent on the finger than it appears from the bright, face on photos.

There are no words for the saphire itself. It is just too cool. I love changable stones like that, they just have a soul.
I don''t think enough has been said about the setting. It is heavier than I wear, but totally something I would think about for my own fingers!
