Hello. I am new to this forum. Anyone ever bought anything from a Chinese jewellery store named Luk Fook? Their gemstones come with certificates from China Gems Laboratory. Anyone know if this laboratory is reputable?
I wish their certs are from GIA, but being based in Asia, I guess they do not. But they are a chain store, well known in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc.
They have a few stores in North America. I am eyeing a pink-red sparkly ruby for $13 000 CAD. I have seen the cert from China Gems Laboratory. The photo looks real, and it does disclose heat treatment. But I am still a little weary because no GIA.
What do you guys think?
