Have purchased antique-style moval, 12.5mm x 6mm or thereabouts. Wanting to set it east-west in a very very simple and clean bezel ring, probably yellow gold. Would appreciate jeweller suggestions with the following in mind:
1. Really good at very clean bezels There won't be any milgrain or any other details to hide behind, so need someone meticulous. I think CAD/cast is fine for this project, not opposed to fully handmade but not requiring finely detailed prong-work or filigree etc. Just someone good at a very clean finish.
2. Will work in a more minimalist/modern style - so many wonderful jewellers great with antique-style work (which I love), but not the brief here.
3. Able to give the option of different hues/alloys of yellow/rose gold. I don't think I want YELLOW yellow gold but I also don't want PINK rose gold - looking for the kind of burnished YG of yesteryear (but modern lines).
Pic of the type of settings I'm considering. Credits to Bliss Lau, GemBreakfast, JBG.
Not sure if this should be in another subgroup so please redirect this if necessary, Admin!
