Jewelers Mark on Pearl Bracelet- help?

Hello everyone! I have commented on posts before but never made my own. Well, I recently purchased a vintage freshwater pearl and 14k bracelet for a steal (I mean it is tiny and only freshwater white so that’s not surprising) but I noticed under the “14k” mark there is a second mark I can’t figure out. I tried using reverse Google image search but that didn’t work. It sort of looks like “HHM”? “HHIM”? It’s odd looking. Any ideas would be much appreciated! I have seen this mark a few times. I once briefly searched for more info and didn’t find anything useful - I didn’t put much effort into it though.

I’ve only ever seen this mark on generic clasps that are used with inexpensive pearls, other beads, and faux pearls. People have asked about it on eBay forums. As such I believe (but again, have not verified) that it’s a mark for the clasp itself, not the strand that clasp is attached to.
