Can anyone please help with this Jeff Cooper setting? Model # is R3145 and can be found at http://www.jeffcooperdesigns.com/ (under engagement rings link). Sorry, I can''t figure out how to post the pic here.

It''s sold at Robbins Brothers, and I don''t care to buy anything from them. I emailed a pricescope vendor asking if they carried it, and they did not, but could make it for $2400. The problem is that the Jeff Cooper itself is only $1600.

I can''t find it sold anywhere else, and the website only lists Robbins Brothers as the dealer. I like this setting because it''s not a trellis setting, and it''s more angular and wedding bands sit flush with it. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you much!

Is this the jeff Cooper setting you want? Is there any particular reason you don''t want to buy from Robbins and Bros.? I don''t know of any PS vendors who carry his line. There are probably a few settings that are similar but if you love everything about that setting I''d suggest getting it..

Ritani makes this one that is similar..

That is the one mrssalvo, thanks. I don''t want to buy from them because the few times I have been in there, they have given the worst service. I just hate to give them my business. I haven''t seen much out there that are similar to this, so if you have seen any, I''d love to know about them.

But I do like the lines of this setting. I may just have to budge, if I can''t find anything else, and hopefully the PS vendor doesn''t have a problem with us not buying the setting from them.

Thanks for the picture of the ritani mrssalvo...I''ll look into that one.

But I did find the JC online at http://www.r8w.com/jcsets.html. Ironically, the company has Robbins in their name as well, although I don''t think there is any relation.

www.bluenile had a similar design called the trellis setting. I also wanted to let you know that with the Jeff Cooper design a wedding band does not sit flush against it. I love the design but hate the fact that there is a considerable gap between the wedding band and the engagement ring. There are 2 places in Houston, Tx that sell Jeff Cooper and you can find info at www.jeffcooperdesigns.com

Sorry, I miss led yu. The engagement ring that u have posted a band can likely fit flush with. It is the one with the two side diamonds and the "basketweave" that a band does not fit with. Once again I am sorry

Did you have any luck with the Jeff Cooper ring? What problem did you have with Robbins Brothers? You might want to give them another chance if you really love that setting.

Yes, I did have luck...I got it at Robbins Jewelers, no relations to Robbins Brothers. Their website is weddingband.com and they were great. Setting was $350 cheaper than Robbins Bros, plus no tax.

The problem I had with Robbins Brothers is that they kept talking out of their a**. First they said the setting could hold a variety of shapes of diamonds in the stock setting, secondly they said the setting could just be sized down (I''m a 4.75). I asked them how long it would take if I wanted it made in my size to start with. They said 8 weeks. Robbins Jewelers in Philly got the ring for me in 3 weeks.

Tiredofwaiting, no prob...I knew it did sit flush since I tried it on at Robbins Brothers...
