JannPaul nova vs 10 h&a ?

Hello diamond experts.. i hope i can decide with you what is better for me.

Im looking for JannPaul LGD .. i went for 1.5 carat cvd diamond to reduce the cost will set it on a simple plain band i want something classic and timeless .. and i don’t want to think about loosing melees the problem is i still didn’t decide which one i should get round or decagon .. nova or 10 h&a ..

I wish i could see them in person it is difficult to choose upon zoom call i don’t live in Singapore

I dont like the crush ice look .. does the nova look like one?

Anybody seen them in person?

Does the 10 h&a have bigger flashes than the nova?

Number of prongs for 1.5 carat?

Should i change and opt for HPHT?

I hope i can get valuable insight from you .. any advice would mean so much to me as I’m trying to make a decision. Thank you very much in advance

Hello and welcome to PriceScope, danat!
I'd speculate that the Nova will have a bit more bolder flashes by nature of the pavilion facets.
Neither should look like crushed ice since they have faceting modeled after the modern round brilliant.
Definitely HPHT, in my opinion.
Number of prongs will be up to you and your own sense of aesthetics.

Which cut can hide grains since i could not change to HPHT .. they started the growing process of CVD .. 10 h&a or nova hides it better?

Or is it obvious to the naked eyes that there is something wrong with cvd? I did choose JP because of the reputation and if there is something wrong with cvd they wont offer such process

I wish i could find a video comparing two cuts together in different lightings

I don't think you'll need to worry at all - JP is one of the few SIC sellers that I'd blindly trust with any LGD that they sell, HPHT or CVD.

Classic/vintage - Nova
