Jann Paul Pink Lab Diamonds?

Hi,

Has anyone seen or purchased any of Jann Paul's lab grown pink diamonds? I read in a PS thread from a year or two years ago, that JP has been perfecting the pink lab diamond growth process, as it's notoriously difficult to get a pink diamond without an orange, peach or brown nuance.

I don't think I can afford to pay JP prices for a large stone, but I'm always in the mood for eye candy, and I'm interested in knowing if JP sells pink lab diamond melee, as I'd like to incorporate some melee to a ring I'm making.

I got a quote for 1.5ct pink lab. It was higher than I had thought and I’m not sure if spending that much money on a lab stone is a good buy. Im gonna see some samples in a couple weeks so I’ll let you know
 
Just as a heads up, JannPaul doesn’t sell loose melee diamonds. Sometimes you can buy one or two as a spare if you’re doing a ring with them. I’ve never seen them do pink melee diamonds before, not sure if that’s something in the works.
 
I’ll second @Competitive_Cars. They don’t sell loose melee. I bought a ring, and they were willing to sell two melee bc I was going to do baby studs, but I decided against it. I think the two decagon melee alone were $200ish?

$200 for a 2mm decagon as of a week and a half ago.

Also side note my ring is getting delivered this morning and I’m jazzed.
 
I will in time I promise, I’d like her to be the first one to see it so it’ll be a bit.

Let’s just say for now that it exceeded my (wildly high) expectations.

OMG, yes, please! Would you mind sharing a ballpark for the pink lab? I was sent pictures of one, but didn't even ask for the price because I imagined it would be too high.

You're right, they answered me they weren't selling any melee nor making any pave rings (ie a eternity ring) because they couldn't consistently get the same shade of pink yet.

I was told (or remember reading here) that they were striving for two shades of pure pink, no other hues, one lighter and another one darker. But I guess it's proven very tricky.

Oh, do you have any pictures of the ring you could post? I'd be forever grateful! How many ct were the two decagon melees?

I went to JP store in September, and they do sell loose melee now. Melee pink / blue / round 10 / decagon, all available.

White decagon 1.8mm (0.025ct) lab-grown cost 85 USD each. Extremely expensive, so I only bought a few. Didn't ask about the others.

OMG! It looks like the most perfect pink. No hint of orange or brown. I'm so envious!!!

Could you post some pictures of the melee you bought under different lightings? I'd be so grateful!
