Typically more of a lurker than a poster here (as I still have much more to learn than share at this point), I really felt compelled to add to the open praise of Whiteflash.com here for the cooperation and professionalism extended to me during the daunting diamond-buying experience. In particular, my positive experience was a direct result of the patience and communication of Jamie at Whiteflash. She took the time to educate me about diamonds in a completely unbiased way and had no problem admitting when my incessant questions required additional resources to answer. She never failed to exude a friendly and helpful persona and make time to help me with my decision, even when I felt that my battery of questions would’ve driven most insane. Jamie even offered suggestions regarding an ER setting for our Whiteflash diamond, even after she realized I would likely be having it made elsewhere and has even followed up since to make sure we were happy.
I’ve never bee one that relies on too much hand-holding during the shopping process, being driven more typically by my own passion for research and desire for a good deal above all else. The diamond buying experience however presented a unique challenge in the necessary education, time-sensitivity, and of course the expense. Given all of this, the idea of buying such an important “big-ticket” item sight unseen really tested my faith. I can honestly say however that in all of my research and visits to jewelry stores I didn’t find anyone who inspired the confidence that Jamie and Whiteflash did (no pressure, plenty of documentation, etc.) and I am very glad I found them through Pricescope. I would not hesitate at all to recommend them to anyone shopping for a diamond, and this comes from someone who lives in close proximity to the NYC diamond district and the endless shopping options that Northern New Jersey affords.
Thank you to Jamie and the folks at Whiteflash for a truly remarkable diamond experience – you’ve made one tough consumer (and a newly engaged couple!) very, very happy.
