Mine have a ship date of the 29th. I don't mind because of the price, but I have to say the lead time was a little disappointing for basic, preset earrings.

Mine is August 3rd...and I do agree, the lead time is pretty long for preset earrings. I think pre-covid it would normally take 2 weeks (from what I read in an older thread), but even then, that’s still long. The stones aren’t even IGI certified.

In any case, I’m hoping ours get shipped sooner than the projected date. I bought a loose stone from them not too long ago and it shipped out a few days earlier than expected and I read another PSer have her ring shipped out a week earlier.

I ordered 7/11 and my estimated ship date is 8/10. I’m not bothered, no deadline to worry about. In other threads it seems like they sometimes ship a bit early. Maybe under promise, over deliver?

I ordered a 0.75 ctw pair a couple of days ago and then just went back & got a 0.50 ctw pair too to compare. I think if I built my own studs I would want to be around 0.60 - 0.65 ctw, so we'll see which size feels right. Can't wait for the obsessing to begin (in a month!).

I couldn't say no to a .50ct pair... It'd cost at least that to set my .20 stones in a stud setting here in Australia and I've been super curious about lab stones.

Ugh I so want to jump on board and get the .5’s or even the .75’s but I’m in Europe so will probably get hit with another 30% customs & VAT! Still probbaly a good price on the .5’s but it stings ha ha.

Here is a pic of the Loop Jewelry 0.5ctw (they say they can be from 0.45 to 0.55 depending on what you get) next to 0.76ctw JA mined stone. So about 0.25 next to 0.38 ct. The mined stone is a J which is why it looks warmer. I much prefer the setting and prongs on the JA stone.

Here are ear shots. I know they're huge which is creepy. I have fairly small lobes and my piercings are low. I don't like the hanging off the lobe look so I'm limited on size. I feel 1ctw looks too big on me. Here is a comparison of the 0.25 and 0.38 ct stones.

When I was comparing these I felt like the 0.25 looked just a little too small. But the 0.38 were pretty eye catching and sometimes I felt they were too big (weird for PS I know). I'm excited to try the new ones.

Thank you for sharing these! They're quite lovely for the price - I'm impressed. Based on your pictures here, I'm guessing colorwise around a G (compared to your E), and the cut looks pretty nice!

Sorry, I spoke too soon. I just got notification that my earrings are now being shipped. I ordered on July 3rd, so just double confirming that JA does complete their studs much earlier than their ETA.

I’m hoping in time JA will expand their lab jewelry line onto their anniversary rings.

I just got my .50 ctw studs today! They are beautiful and fiery. I honestly didn’t expect them to be this nice given the cost. I tried to take as much pics as possible; hope this helps...:



They’re actually bigger than I expected, which was a nice surprise. I think I would’ve been fine taking the smallest size, too; I know PSers like bigger stones, but I’m pretty conservative with jewelry and I like to err on the smaller side, lol. Overall I’m impressed.

My loose diamond that I bought a few weeks ago is at the jeweler (also from JA) but I can tell these are warmer than my engagement ring diamond (which is an E). I have to say I kinda like the coloring of these better.

Thanks @123ducklings and @Decision_Decisions ! Yes, the cut on these are much better than I thought; at the very least they are very good, imo. I can see the arrows on both pretty well.

I hope this enables people to get these studs. They’re really fantastic for the cost!

Thanks so much! I would love to see if anyone bought the bigger studs. If these small ones are nice, I wouldn’t doubt that the larger ones are just as good.
