James Meyer - Pictures of his work in progress

Hi All -

James Meyer is making a ring for me. He is resetting my .91 rb diamond and adding 2 oval rubies. He has sent me some pictures of the work in progress - one of the wax model and the other of the casting. I could only get one pic to attach so I will try to add the other as a reply. I can''t wait to get the ring - it already looks beautiful!

lil425 – That was really nice of Jim to send you those pics. Did you ask for them or did he send them to you out of the blue? Also, if you don’t mind me asking, how long ago did you place this order from him? I ask because Jim is making an ering for my girlfriend and I am trying to get a timeline of how long this should take. He told me he wanted to have it completed before he left for Italy next month so that’s about all I know.

I think the ring will turn out really nice and I look forward to seeing pics of it once it’s finished.

Hey, Reggie! I think the three of us are his main projects before leaving for Italy. Initially, I was told about 6 weeks. But when he received my stone on Feb. 8, he said "about 4 weeks." I''m crossing my fingers for any day now!!

Upgradable – Hello again! Your new ring should be pretty cool as well and I’ve been waiting for you to post pics of it. I read some thread where you were thinking about having Jim make you a cross out of some diamonds you already had on hand. I’m curious how he would put his own slant on that. I ‘m sure it would be amazing.

Hi Reggie -

We agreed on a design on 2/8/10 - by that time I had already sent him my diamond so he was able to size it and incorporate it into the design. When we spoke on the phone one day he asked me how I heard about him and I mentioned Pricescope and that there were quite a few posts about him . I told him that I planned on posting a picture of my ring when it was ready. He said that maybe he would send me some pictures of the work in progress so I thought I''d share them with the Pricescope community. I am not sure when my ring will be ready - he mentioned something about a month to 6 weeks.
