The liberal mob had been attacking me since 2008...No big deal to me!What I did NOT enjoy are the personal or mob attacks that some on here enjoy anonymously from the safety of their hideaways.

We need "drama threads" ...I think it depends on whether the remaining topics interest people. I don't even think people make a conscious decision to go or stay. If they are bored they will wander off somewhere else or vice versa.
If we set up a yes or no poll on political discussions I think it'll be a overwhelming YES!
You should set up the poll.In the words of Nike, JUST DO IT.

Half of the Forum have him on ignore. Someone who is innocent should start the poll
I'm surprised this thread still exists. It is at odds with #7-e of forum policies.
It was YOUR idea! You should set up the poll.![]()

Are you feeling OK? Do you need to see a Dr.?As much as I hate to say it, I have to agree with @Dancing Fire above.
I have never, ever understood being upset over some disagreement on an online forum.
Don't like it?Don't read it!

Whilst I agree with the sentiment of don’t like it, don’t read it, I did read some of the posts. As I said before, it’s not my politics as I’m not in the U.S., but I have to say that some of the comments and the personal attacks I found unkind and unnecessary. Which leads me to your first comment, whilst the opinion of strangers shouldn’t matter, when people are criticising you or attacking you personally, I think a lot of people would find it hard not to be upset.
I don't get upset when it comes to talking politics. Heck, most of my close friends are Dems but we still go out to have lunch and coffee at least 3X a week. My brother is a far left liberal he is the biggest Trump hater on earth but I still love him.I seriously doubt that he was upset. I think that people online have a tendency to make things about them - as an example, if I don't like your candidates policies, and I think he's stupid, that does not mean that I dont like you and I think you're stupid, but people tend to read it that way .
For the most part the criticisms were toward policy or politicians. I only saw one person be rude; she called DF a troll. For my part I promptly corrected her, as did another poster. Meanwhile DF was probably ogling all his beautiful diamonds and planning his next Chanel purse purchase for his wifeI seriously doubt that he was upset. CC. You did a good job of brainwashing your dad to become a dem...+100 times.
@smitcompton , I may join this other forum too. It will feel strange as PS is the only online forum I’ve ever participated in. It would be nice if others here who enjoyed the political forum did as well. I learned a lot here and really enjoyed hearing others opinions.

No more Chanel. Last yr when we were in Paris I purchased 3 Chanel. One for my wife and one for each daughter. I'm broke!DF I expect to see more Chanel purses at some point. I like to live vicariously![]()
