Woofmama, the stones are .53 each. I actually bought them back in December, during the Christmas sale. Sure glad I did, they've gone up a chunk since then. I had them set in YG 8-prong martinis, but when I got them I decided the YG was a mistake. So I sent them back to be rhodium plated, and had the jackets made to fit at the same time. I had BGD leave the posts YG so I could easily tell them from my .42's of the same color, also 8-prong. I also had a pair of .34 each G-SI1's that were originally set in 4-prong martinis made into drops, but for some reason didn't get pics of the finished result.

I also pulled another Andelain while I was waiting on these to be finished, that won't be complete for a while yet. A while back I had these drops made,


using .42 each K-VS2's. I love them, but I'm too color sensitive for my own good. So I stumbled across these E's, cut for even more brilliance than usual.

Be still my beating heart! OK, out came the credit card, they're mine. They'll be sitting for a bit, as I won't be sending in the drops to have the stones changed until I get this order. I haven't decided for sure what I'm going to do with the K's yet. I could trade them in, but I'm leaning toward having them put in the now empty 4-prong mounts and giving them to a friend.

I asked them to make a set for a single stone, and it cost a good bit less. I also had them shorted the chain, because 2" long would drive me bugshit crazy. Then go pick out your diamonds......

Wow, so many lovely pairs of studs! Do they all get rotated into your wardrobe?

I wear them in different combos, as I have 4 holes per ear. I much prefer more smaller stones than a single larger stone in my ears. I can combine stud sizes, drops, the raindrops shwn below, and soon jackets. I didn't get a pic to post here, but I also have the other set of drops coming. One set of drops will be 3/4" total length, the other will be 1 3/8" I'm also having a double chain put on both to reduce spinning, and a larger jump ring so I can hang them on the post behind my ear if I want. I couldn't do that with the tiny jump rings on there now. That gives me all kinds of options for different looks. I also have a pair of .93 CTW James Allen leverbacks that I rarely wear. Kind of a shame, one of the stones is a JA True Hearts E-VS1 and the other is a WF ACA D-SI!!

For studs I have 1.34 CTW, 1.06 CTW (pictured above,on thier way back to me), .82 CTW, .54 CTW, and .25 CTW. I also have a larger pair of non-ideal cuts that I don't wear. The 1.34 CTW's are Stateside.

Thanks for the offer, but I can't see turning loose of the stones, even if I reset them. Shy halfs in D and E color aren't exactly easy to come by. If fact, I'd bought the D to go in my pendant, but ended up needing something a hair larger for the middle stone. So when Bob said he's send me an invoice for the difference and credit me for the D, my response was "Not so fast.......".
