Chel, can you post your ring so we can give you ideas? Would you go for something like this?

Back from Tiffany''s...and the band was gorgeous! They said their band was a little under 4mm, and it was a bit on the wider side of my preference. This makes me think the 3mm will be perfect. But the band complemented my ring very nicely. I didn''t mind the gap (hehe) as much as I thought I would, so getting it done the regular way is definitely an option.
