The time has finally come where I can''t lurk anymore. 6 days to go girls! Whether you know it or not, all of you have been such a great help in the planning process...thank you!!!! You all have done your part, so now I''m doing mine.
2.gif
Here are the details.... Sorry, no dress yet. I''m somewhat reluctant to post it on this computer since my FI and I share it. I''ve made it this far without him seeing it, and don''t want to take any chances! I''ll post some soon though. Enjoy!

Ok...first up...the invites. Our colors our champagne and cinnamon. I kept the font cinnamon, and changed the inner lining of the envelopes to champagane. Hope the size comes out ok!

ok...2nd try.

oh good! now I''m getting somewhere! I was getting a little nervous that I''d end up being just a tease!

Next up...the girls dresses. MOH is wearing champagne, and the others in cinnamon. They are petite girls, so I will not be using the shawls.

and who could forget their accessories? Here are there purses and shoes; all are dyed to match their prospective colors.

Bm''s shoes shown in champagne. Unfortunately the computer-color doesn''t do much justice.

Ok...the bm''s flowers found on the knot with a few alterations. FI''s mom is a florist....how lucky! There will be a little less yellow than shown, and some deep purple-ish burgundy mixed in with the rust. The idea is that the flowers spiral from white, to cream, to yellow, to rust, to the purple-ly color....like autumn leaves changing.

Again, from the knot, is the inspiration for my flowers. I am having all white and ivory with a few roses between the orchids at the bottom.

The front entrance to the venue....

The grand ballroom...all tablecloths will be floor-length in ivory. The chairs will be done in ivory with a matching sash. Centerpieces are simple, tall, gold candleabras...a 6 stem I believe. Check out the lights on the ceiling....they are my favorite!!! ( The disco ball will not be there) There is an additional ballroom for the cocktail hour, but unfortunately, no pics. I did also compile a slideshow for the cocktail hour.

Menu:

During the cocktail hour, there will be 20 different hors d''oeuvres passed....too many to name.

5 hour open bar

Chicken Pastine Soup

Fresh Field Greens with Balsamic Vinaigrette

Choice of:
Broiled Seafood Trio (shrimp, scallops, salmon)
Beef Tenderloin Bourdellaise (red-wine reduction sauce)
Chicken Parm

Chocolate Fountain with assorted fruit

Individual Pastry trays for each table.

Cake on the next post!!!

The cake minus these flowers. All the flowers will be fresh and have mini calla lillies spiraling down in the same manner as the bm''s bouquets. Add a couple of large white orchids, a few ivory spray roses, and you get the picture...

It is a yellow cake with raspberry and cannoli filling with chocolate chips. MMmmmm!! I ate 2 pieces at the tasting!

Placecard picture frames. Love these! There are a wooden frame, all unique, with pieces of dried leaves covered in rice paper.

Everything looks so pretty. I love the colors. The wedding will be beautiful. Enjoy these last few days. Congratulations.

Laid across each plate will be these favors. All red long stem rose soaps in a clear cylinder box with an organza ribbon. These soaps are amazing! Each petal is paper thin....they look incredibly real in person!

These favors will be placed in front of each plate. Just got these the other day and are so cute! The boxes are tiny...2"x 2" tied with a raffia ribbon. Each has a personalized tag hung by a gold thread. The liquor flavors vary, and include drambuie, grand marnier, baileys, kahlua, stoli, rum, sambuca, etc.

Box for the envelopes. So stoked about this...I originally had rented one for $40. They also wanted a $50 deposit in case anything happened to it. Anyway, I found the exact same one at a local craft store for $40 and did this instead. I figured it''s the same cost, and now I''ll have a place to store our memorobilia.

Guest book and pen set. Love the bling!

Toasting flutes. It''s a shame I can''t get a close-up. The website will but just doesn''t let you download a closer view. Anyway, they are each done with our monograms and have little infinity symbols on the base that are adorned with swarvorski (spelling?) crystals. They are at www.thingsremembered.com if you want a closer glance and to check out our matching serving set!

Unity candle to match the serving set and flutes. Not quite sure what that little box is in the lower right hand corner though. Ours didn''t come with that. But again, you can find it at www.thingsremembered.com if you want a closer view.

Gm''s gift....keychains inscribed with "so-n-so''s ride"

gm2.jpg

Another gm gift. These are paperweights. It has a tee, club, and ball that are actually a pen, refillable pencil, and letter-opener. Sorry can''t show you the bm''s gifts....they all browse here too often!

These are tiffany-style nightlights with sensors that I''m giving to each of our mom''s.

Everything looks great! Good luck and I wish you the best on your wedding day.

I love those rose soaps! Where did you get them? Were they expensive? I can''t decide if I want to do favors or just make a donation and have an announcement or note about it.
