Lilac, I feel the same way about the snow and cold!


I''m in NW Iowa. We had a light dusting of snow last week too. Today''s snow is already melting b/c we haven''t had a hard freeze yet. I just couldn''t resist this morning b/c it was sooo pretty! It was a strange Spring/Summer, so only stands to reason it will be a strange Fall/Winter I guess!


Ha, now you watch, we probably won''t see any more snow until December! I remember a lot of years having a foot of snow on the ground for Thanksgiving, and it being melted by Christmas. Iowa weather is weird.

I hear ya about weird weather... in MI we have a saying "if you don''t like the weather, wait fifteen minutes" lol! I live on the West side of Michigan. Lake effect can be crazy in the winter! no snow yet, just cold/windy/rainy/gray/miserable. I love the chilly, clear, sunny sky days though- good hoodie weather

Haha-we say that about Iowa weather too! Snows one day and the next day it''s in the high 70''s. Snow in May. Just odd!

Beautiful pictures packrat. Wish it would snow at our house. Where we are in California, we have to drive over 3 to 4 hours to see snow.
