Haha, the company I work for has a big office in Houston, and we got a bunch of messages from people there. Apparently they were all glued to the windows.
BUT GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!!
A cold front moved in over Houston last night and as I speak it is
SNOWING!!!!!
I don''t know where my digital camera is and my cell phone pics are coming out crappy. Let''s hope that DH calls me back to let me know where it is before the snow stops completely.

redrose, how long have you lived in Houston?
I''ve been here since 2001 and so the hot weather just drives me INSANE now. I LOVVVVVVVEEEE it cold like this.
You''re right, people can''t drive for crap though. I was so annoyed coming home because I think people thought they were going to get into an accident if they went over 15mph. lol.
BUT it was so great to see everyone outside taking pictures! And I went to the grocery store and saw that everyone was just standing outside and looking so happy! It was so great.
I remember that - cool!Date: 12/10/2008 11:56:09 PM

That''s awesome! Houston weather is soooo crazy. I used to live there and about 5 years ago, it snowed on Christmas Eve!

Bebe, I hope your son made it home safely!
I read about that!! Congraulations on getting the offer, that''s so amazing!! Well, if your looking for some snow at all and even a few months of cold weather, I would go with Dallas. Up there, we usually got it for a few days a year, between Jan and March. From what I hear, snow in Houston, is a very random occurance... and for Texas (other than the panhandle), snow in December is down right odd. But I love it.Date: 12/11/2008 11:22:40 AM

Meresal - I love those pics! So funny too, as DH and I sit here still debating our move to Houston vs. Dallas. I don''t think we''d mind a bit of snow, but DH grew up (and we both went to college on) the East Coast and I know he isn''t eager to return to that full time...
