It's only $1.3M on eBay…

I’ll bet that, under the right lighting and weather conditions, you could se that honker from outer space!

Great minds think alike, lol. I was gong to say it could be used to signal for help if one became lost in the wilderness. It might even be visible from the international space station.

It's a stunning diamond. However, even if money was no object, I could never set anything that big in a ring. My hand would probably drag on the floor…

A 60/60 cut diamond. You would think it could be marketed in another way besides eBay? How could you ever be confident in a buyer? I guess it would go through a broker.

I guess there are some very well-to-do people shopping eBay. (It's probably more accurate to say their personal shoppers.) The seller also has a physical jewelry store and offers a lot of Tiffany and other designer jewelry on eBay. Personally, I would be afraid to post anything in this price range to the internet. Their insurance bills must be insane.

For this price point, why not tweak it and make it a super ideal? :lol-2:

It won’t sell on eBay. A lot of high end shops even pawnbrokers use eBay to get market attention, it costs a seller nothing to list on eBay. 99% of the time, with an eBay listing that shows a phone number, an Instagram handle, a street address or even a web site a potential buyer looking at big dollar items knows to contact direct. EBay fees are around 10%, a direct sale 0%, so a smart buyer knows that price is negotiable at up to 10%.

Oh jeeeeez, there’s a lot I would do for a boulder like that!

My fingers are ready. I go to the gym and everything. I swear I can take it

Are you skilled in martial arts or have you had shelf defense training? You will need it if you are going to wear a boulder like that one!
We have had reports of “ jugging” on our local news. I live in a city of around 2 million , so kind of large but not NYC large . People have been “ jugged” after going to an ATM machine, but also followed out of nice retail stores and then “jugged” because of where they had shopped.
I’m beginning to think about only wearing my really nice jewelry at home in my pj’s!

I'm prettyyyy sure anyone who has a rock like that also rarely interacts with the general public, except for in a controlled environment! I do live in a place where there is massive wealth disparity though and you do see some insanely enormous rocks on people. But they only wear those at private parties, or upscale venues (like high end restaurants, hotels etc.) and only travel in private cars. If I had a rock like that I def wouldn't be wearing it to grocery shop

HI:

"Looks as big as a 13 carat"! Great marketing. LOL.

cheers--Sharon
