That is an absolutely gorgeous ring! I agree with you about the wb...I love split shanks but I really want a wedding band so I probably won''t get one (if I had any input on the ring.) Anyway, that is one HUGE .74 and it''s absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations!

That looks a lot larger than .74!! CONGRATS on the recent proposal and that''s a gorgeous ring! What i like is that the splilt shank doesn''t taper, but rather, they''re more evenly... split? I don''t know how to describe that with technical terms...

What kind of a band will you get? I''m thinking something just as thin.

You really think it looks like 1.5 carats??!! Wow, great! I''m glad it looks big. My fingers are 4.5, but the bands are only 1.3mm or 1.4mm so they are super thin. Maybe the rectangular shape makes it look bigger or something, who knows. My friend has a round brilliant that is a .9 carat and mine looks pretty similar to hers.

) Seriously...I adore your ring. Your search for the perfect radiant was worthwhile & I think you picked the perfect setting to showcase it! I think it''d be fine to skip the wedding band (or get a band to wear on your right hand), especially as your split-shank looks like 2 bands anyway.

Am I in lala land or what - how did I miss this thread?

First, holy cow, that radiant stone is just drop dead GORGEOUS. Seriously - that stone is amazing. Second, it clearly looks like waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than 0.75 ct to me. Third, That split shank setting is awesome. Just awesome. Delicate and feminine and sparkly and just AWESOME. I love it.

Are you going to pair a wedding band with it? I''m a sucker for a thin band; how thick are those two? Very, very pretty!! Lots of glimmering sparkles!!
 
I haven''t decided on a wedding band yet. I think I might go without one, or I will get something for the other hand. probably small and thin, with a design on it. Not sure yet though.
 
Do you know how many milimeters the two thin bands are across the front of your ring? They look so pretty and delicate. Great choice, whoever picked it!! :)
 
Each band is either 1.3mm or 1.4mm I forget. I think there is about almost 3mm of space in between the two bands.
