Well, after must consternation and trepidation, I purchased my e-diamond. It looks great. Just a shout out to Tony and Martin at USA Certified for working with me after a uneasy experience with another P/S vendor who tried to switch me from a Princess cut I spotted on P/S into a stock EGL diamond.
Anyhoo Here''s the numbers on what I got:
Weight: .61
4.84 x 4.83 x 3.25
Depth: 67.3
Table: 66
Girdle: Thin to Medium
Culet: none
Polish: Ex
Sym: Ex
Clarity: VS2
Color: F
Flour: none
Comments: None
Sarin
l/w 1.00
Crown 9.0
Pavil 41.4
It looks great. After talking with some folks I''ve decided on a Tifany setting--Plat Head, Plat solder and White Gold shank--My Princess preferred the white gold over platinum. Any thoughts on that?
I''m having it done locally by a referred jeweler. I brought the diamond to him and he very impressed with the quality of the diamond. He offered a ballpark opinion on what I probably paid for it and he was a tad *cough* high.
Glad I found ya''ll--this little website has saved me about 15-hundred bucks and helped me get a diamond with glitter.
