Fi and I don''t have the gushing proposal story like some have posted. We have known we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together, it just was a matter of finishing the job!

We have been looking at stones for quite a while, and fi finally decided on this lovely one, all on his own!!! He did a great job, didn''t he?!

I first want to apologize for the photos, for some reason my Blackberry takes MUCh better photos of it than my digital camera! I tried setting the camera on Macro mode (the little flower icon, right?) shutting off the flash and they came out terrible.

So here is what I have to post for now!

Stone is 3.01 transitional cut OEC. J-VS2 set in a simple, fi-designed prong halo solitaire in 18kt WG. The prongs are beautiful!

It''s not quite bezel set, more like a plain halo, the stone is held by the 4-pongs. Fi was advised to not set it into a full bezel until we decided on the "forever" setting because of a spot on the girdle.

Here is the last one for now, it shows real life perspective well. I forgot to add my ring size is a 5, but I think I need to resize to a 4.75.
