I put a stone on layaway from Grace, it was an easy process and I fell in love with the stone! I didn't want it to look like an engagement ring so I knew I wanted a little detail to the band and I love the idea of a buttercup setting so I asked Sally and Pomme from heart of water to make me a beautiful rose gold hand forged setting. I've never done anything like this before or even seen an OEC in person so I was definitely nervous!
But it's here!!!!! And I have never seen a diamond as beautiful as this in my life! I love the larger flashes of color, I definitely made the right choice for me! And it is looking white white white to me even though it's a GIA M so I don't know what that's all about lol?
Thank you to all of the pricescope people, I would never have heard of these vendors without pricescope and it was so easy. Grace made the layaway process very easy, and Sally was seriously the sweetest person I could ever have hoped to work with on the design.
I had three rings from here that inspired me, one for the OEC stone in this color range, one for a buttercup setting, and one for the leaves in the band, and I took ideas from all of those to design my ring, as well as many picture searches!
I also can't figure out why 2.22 looks so huge to me, it's crazy!
I only have iPhone pictures but I will post those!

, then when it was finished she mailed the setting to me to make sure I liked it, and I mailed it to Grace to have her set my stone. It couldn't have been easier and the price with Sally was just so unbelievably good that I knew I could take some chances and make it my own because I can always switch out he setting, but the delicate rose gold is subtle and pretty at the same time and really compliments the stone, the setting makes it look huge!
