Omg I'm sooooooo happy rn!!!! My 0.86 cvd mrb solitaire came!!!! Here are the specs...
0.86 ct
6.15-6.18x3.73 mm
I color
VVS2
Ideal/ex/ex
Table 58%
Depth 60.5%
Crown angle 34°
Pavillion angle 40.9°
Medium girdle faceted
Pointed culet
1.2 HCA
So when I searched it out I put hearts and arrows specs in the search engine. I wanted as close to a hearts and arrows lab created diamond as I could find. Clean origin has hearts and arrows lab created stones but i was shopping through with clarity. All the numbers are within those, and only two are just a hair outside of optimum. Also I found a chart of Crown and Pavillion angles that would be considered heart's and arrows and my diamond was within those! You can definitely see the arrows!! Is it possible when louping to catch glimpses of the hearts too? It's already in the setting but I'm pretty sure I saw one.
I couldn't see much in the way of inclusions while louping. I know with vvs2 it should be that way. The igi cert doesn't even have an inclusion plot. There's one on the appraisal but there's nothing plotted out. I found one or two very small inclusions but they were hard to spot even with a loupe. Also it does face up whiter than an I like the gemologist said. It also goes darker in direct sunlight....YAY!!
It also faces up closer to a 1 ct to my eye. I used to have a 1.21 ct E SI1 from my ex hubs and its not much smaller than that one was. The HCA tool said it would have excellent fire, scintillation and light return and very good spread that faced up big within TIC range.
So anyway....pics in the next post!!
