I am LOVING the weather in LA right now. I wish Christmas would be like this. TGuy and I want to do xmas as his parents do every year...10 am kick off with champagne (and sparkling shiraz...the Rockford''s is on the ice, whoo hoo!). We do seafood all day, bit by bit and sit outside. If it was warm, it would feel more like Oz. Here''s hoping.

Well I can go snow skiing in the morning in the local mountains and go surfing the same afternoon at the beach near our house.

Well, I did think it was raining once but it turned out to be bird spit.

Believe it or not, living in SoCal can get pretty monotonous

It''s raining here, and we could get a wintry mix tonight/tomorrow. It''s all over the news as if it''s going to be a blizzard or something. I think it''s hilarious how they react to the weather down here. I miss snow so much! I''d love an excuse to stay in all day, curl up with my husband and watch movies. It doesn''t sound right to use rain as an excuse though.

it snowed here in easter washington which was nice but then there was freezing rain on top of the snow and freezing rain while driving is NOT fun haha but its stopped now! the temp has become a warm 44 degrees! haha warm compared to the 20 degrees we had the past week!

Um, our state bankrupt, more public services will have to be cut this year, the amount we pay in property taxes would make your stomach turn, you can't buy a decent home where I live (San Diego County) for under $400,000 (and that's really stretching it), and California is definitely not what you see on TV (the middle and northern parts of our state are a completely different world than the stretch from L.A. to San Diego and the bay area) Need I continue or do you feel better now?

That being said, my husband was offered a job in Chicago, a city we both adore, and chose to stay because I can't imagine living elsewhere. That's mostly related to family, but it's also because I love where we live.

I was loving the cool weather and rain of a week ago. We need as much of it as we can get, I'm ready for more.
