Very interesting. You know, I saw a book at Amazon about "plastic jewelry". Apparently, it is very "in" and some of it cost a lot of money. What you have shown is pretty unique.

When I was young, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro was called WC-women''s college. They had the black onyx class ring which was a rectangular black onyx with their seal embossed, tone on tone, in top. I loved that ring. I almost went there, and decided against it. I still think about that ring, though.
