How well do these machines work when comparing two diamonds or just in general?

If being stuck on two almost identical spec diamonds would you let the machine decide the better of the two?

as long as they were both in acceptable ranges, no. Sure, score of 7 vs 9. 9.2 vs 9.5? Machine can''t tell you what you like.
