Is yellow gold back in style?

Hello,

I am considering having a custom pendant made for a few colored stones I have. I am trying to decide between 18-20k gold and platinum.

Dear PS’ers do you think yellow gold is back In style? ( it never totally left it was becoming difficult to find in super end jewelry)

IMHO, I think the trend is swinging back to yellow gold. But important jewelry settings will still command platinum. Each metal has its charm. I think rose and other colored golds are trending downward.
