is this stone too dark too bezel?

hello everyone! i am interested in purchasing the medium/dark blue tunduru spinel oval on barry''s site, but i wasn''t sure if it was too dark to bezel, doesn''t anyone have any information on it? i have been trying to email barry but it keeps getting kicked back.

He''s already describing it as "medium/dark blue" and that''s before it''s set...so I think in a bezel it''s going to look like navy blue/black. A bit dark IMHO.

I would agree it would be dark in a bezel setting.

Yup, wouldn''t bezel it. I would only bezel pastel coloured stones.

I have a "medium/dark" garnet from ACS and it was to dark to bezel.

Would you consider a partial bezel? That would give the same modern look but let more like in. Here is my favorite partial bezel setting, although I know there are cheaper ones out there. Sholdt Ring
