I just posted my new upgrade from Frank Darlin. Don’t get me wrong, I love that ring very much.

It’s just sometimes I see blue in the stone when light hit the stone and I see it from side way.
When light hit the stone, I can clearly see stone turn blueish color.
I thought it just bigger stone reacts to the light but now I am not sure?
Today, I wear my 3 stone ring F color, and realized that stone is so crystal clear and white without any blue color to it.
And it made the feel my new stone is so blue…sometimes.

I would appreciate everyone take a look and let me know What do you think?

This is the video of the stone. I did think it has a little blue nuance but we thought it‘s just base color has more blue tone to it and made stone looked blueish.

This is under cool white LED light, really reacts to the light

This is 3 stone alone, see how clear the stone reacts to light

when under normal lighting or when upside down, no blue ( or maybe very faint?)

One more, when directly hit by sunlight shows blue but when I put it on white paper, no more blue?

Yes...it does appear to have a very, very slight touch of blue nuance.
Not a grayish-blue that is often seen, but yours appears as if it's clearish-blue (I've never seen this before..and it's very unique and kind of mesmerizing in your photos!).

And now for the million dollar question: Is it a bother to you?

Thanks @DejaWiz !

So, I used 10x magnifying glass and check the stone under bathroom lighting, and I clear see blue nuance. It is very pretty though.
Do I care?
Once I notice blue color on the stone, I kept checking if stone look blue under different environments…oh, this is hard, stone sparkle like crazy and it is truly a beautiful diamond. But wearing my F color ring today made me feel maybe this blue isn’t my liking?
Tomorrow will be a sunny day, and I I will go outside and see if stone turn too much blue at outdoor. Or Maybe I will grow to love how special sparkly blue stone it is?

It's interesting that the slight blue hue is only now showing up in your real life viewing. I didn't see it in any of the photos or videos that FD provided, and even in the magnified video I have to squint and convince myself to see it.

Keep wearing it around and see how you feel. From your posts in this thread, it may be a bit too blue for you, and of course we can help you find a replacement if needed. There are lots of beautiful stones out there if you decide this isn't the one for you!

Thank you @Kim N!
I totally agree with you. I didn’t see any blue in the video FD provided. We all thought this stone is safe. I will wear it around for a week and see how I truly feel.

I took videos to compare new ring with F color.
I didn’t see blue in person but somehow phone video catches blue nuance. Or it’s just how diamond reflects light? It will be painful to let go if I can’t accept the blue tint feeling.

Thanks @DejaWiz !

i love it
i have never seen it first hand but i kinda love blue nuance

Thank you! I love it too! It is really a beautiful stone. But every time I wear it, I kept checking blue nuance, and it seems like overpowering original beauty. I will wear it around and see how I truly feel.

then you just just do this
and report back at (very) regular intervials with your thoughts =)2

Thanks for sharing your pics and videos. I’m crazily taking videos and pics of mine to figure out if I see it too.

If you see blue on the side of the stone when whiter light hit your stone, then you might want to take closer look. I kind of like it but I have some doubts. I will share with everyone when video’s uploaded.

I need opinions please.
It was finally some sunny day today, so I made a lots of efforts to observe my ring. I still like how it shows blue color when light hit, but I also noticed something else. I feel that blue color make stone look haze due to the blue color. I am not sure if this is because stone is set and those are prong blocking lights to make it look a bit milky haze? Or it was because blue nuance? While the other stone is so crystal clear.

Here are few videos

Video took in the car is not a good comparison but I forget to bring another ring to compare and all I have is unwashed pendant...

Here are some photos. Do you think it look more haze or that’s just normal Showing blue color? D48E7CDE-1D20-4C31-A1D5-EAC9D2B78746.jpeg92E0F69D-3C65-43D3-84AD-D56C0848F4FD.jpeg9B9742FA-1260-4610-AFA5-A9391BCDBB52.jpeg68A80DA3-945E-4543-828F-6AAAB85902E6.jpeg
