I saw an old mind cut diamond today. The jewler is asking for $7,500. It is a 2.02 ct, SI1 M/L quality. Sorry i dont have pictures. I was going to have it set in a ring. Any idea if this is a good price?

I am sorry but without pictures and confirmation that the grading is correct is akin to asking whether $10K is a good price for a 19xx Honda Accord with XXX miles, with no idea of the condition of the body and engine. It could be a very nicely cut stone or it could be a leaker. The colour and clarity could be spot on or could be way off. All these factors drive pricing accordingly.

Ask them to send you some pics and be aware unless it has a reliable certificate from a reliable lab NOT a valuation from the vendor themselves then most vendors tend to over estimate on colour, sometimes clarity too but they are almost always overly generous with estimating colour.
