I would say OEC but I know many here are more knowledgeable and will hopefully chime in. Either way it is beautiful. Do you know the color?

It’s mine, it’s my first engagement ring. I’m Not sure how old it is, and the diamond color H but the Gold band makes it look yellow
 
Its color H .87 ct . I was told it’s Old European Cut and also told it was A transitional cut. It’s always bothered me because I want to know which cut it is. Lol
I also have another antique ring with an old European cut that looks nothing like this diamond
 
It has a very small table, so I too am thinking OEC.

That’s part of the charm with old cut diamonds, they are each unique. Can you post a pic of that one too?
 
Yes, they are all unique! That's part of what makes them so interesting!
