Is this normal? Lab grown 4.05 ct elongated cushion

I recently got my engagement ring and absolutely love it but some things are bugging me. Lol There is a dark line, one side looks cloudy and the other sparkly until I move it the other way and then it switches over. It’s almost like there are two separate diamonds smooshed together. Hard to explain. Please see the pics and let me know if I am crazy and just looking too hard. I’ve never had a diamond before.

Elongated cushions are very hard to cut well and the issues that you're seeing are related to the cut. That dark line is often called a "bow tie". What's the return policy? How much did you spend?

It’s 30 days I believe. Which passed a couple weeks ago I think. I’m not sure how much. I believe $6000-7500

So it sounds like you aren't in the return period? You could ask about an exchange but otherwise just enjoy being engaged and having a truly massive diamond! Almost all elongated cushions will have these issues to some degree. Don't let comparison be the thief of joy!
