Is this fancy colored OEC a fair price?

Hi!

I'm looking for a 2+ cts OEC in the fancy brown color spectrum. The jeweler we're working with found one I'm considering, but I don't have enough experience to know if it's a good price.

It's GIA 2.4 cts, OEC, I1 (but eye clean), fancy light yellow brown. She's asking for $15k for everything -- the stone, the setting, shipping, free returns etc. The setting is a simple gold six prong, $700 sold separately. Obviously she needs to take a cut for herself since she's been working so hard to find such a unique stone for us. All together, does this seem like a reasonable price? If not, what do you think would be?

I'm guessing no. Go compare on Grace's site, and OWD AND love affair diamonds. Keeping in mind this is an I1.

With an I1 diamond, assessments become far more complex.
Do you have any pictures of the diamond?

Have you looked at Jewels by Grade, Love Affair Diamonds, or Old World diamonds? They specialize in old cuts. And their prices are much more reasonable.
