This is a lousy stone in my opinion. I knew it was CVD just by looking at it. It’s grainy and leaky and has serious brown undertones. I would keep looking.

The first set are full of graining and striation. The last two have some and that VS2 may not be eye clean. Can I make a suggestion? Look for an HPHT stone instead of CVD. Emeralds are very unforgiving with color and clarity. They don’t hide flaws well and I feel like it’s very hard to get a well-cut CVD emerald.

You can filter “hpht” and type in a depth
of 60 min to 65 max, table 62 min to 67 max and whatever ratio you want (1.4 is “ideal” but you can go skinner or chunkier depending on your preference). This should result in some beautiful options depending on your budget.
