Is this diamond ring too cloudy?

Hi!

I recently received my ring from James Allen. This is my first diamond purchase so I am no expert. I love the ring, it sparkles like crazy but I notice a cloudy feature where it looks kind of hazy/blue. Here are the specs .83 H SI2 Ideal Cut. Its really a gorgeous ring in person but I'm wondering if I should go down in color for a better clarity. Out of these three loose diamonds or should i stick with this ring. Sorry not the best pictures.

Any color you are seeing is coming from the environment. This stone does not have clouds or a lot of twining wisps or very strong fluorescence that might cause a cloudy appearance, so I am going to guess that it might not be clean. Maybe fingerprints are on it or oil from skin on the pavilion side. Diamonds are dirt magnets and need to be cleaned often. Of course, they aren't showing the clarity plot on the JA site, so it is hard to say if feathers or the crystal have anything to do with what you are seeing.

A drop from H to K color you will absolutely see, especially in a halo. I would not advise dropping below I color if you decide to try an SI1.

Ahhh, well clouds are listed as the only and primary inclusion, so there you go! I would exchange it. I think you can do better on cut, too. But I'd look at I VS2 and SI1.

These are measurements to help you stay in ideal cut territory with a GIA excellent cut stone.

table: 54-58

depth: 60-62.3

crown angle: 34-35.0 (up to 35.5 crown angle can sometimes work with a 40.6 pav angle)

pavilion angle: 40.6-40.9 (sometimes 41.0 if the crown angle is close to 34)

thank you so much! so i narrowed it down to these two both similar specs according to your cut guild lines. one is J .83 carats to I .80 both are VS2

I'd go with the I VS2 because I think the cut is a bit safer than the other one. With that 36 crown angle, you could have some leakage in that one. I color is probably a wiser choice, too.

thank you ordered! and will send update this post with pics when i receive it.
