Lol. Meaning bad milgrain that looks like too much metal. E8EB3EFD-C316-41AC-BDEC-F46723ABDEDB.jpeg91E54394-5072-4DF9-9C5E-64FFEAAC6467.jpeg

Wow. 50/50 split on the poll. I would say yes because I noticed the beading before I noticed the diamonds.

I would call that beading not milgrain. It's all a preference! I've had rings with both, over time the beading will last longer (in my experience).

I know what you are saying.
I agree that I wouldn't call this migrain.
I think this isn't your style.
I also think for what it is, it is a bit wonky it terms of precision.
Can you return?

It’s not well executed. The prongs for some of the diamonds aren’t in position. I’d say it’s just cast not hand beading/ miligrain. Depending on the price (I’d be more forgiving if it had been modestly priced) I’d probably return it.

I really like it, but I sense you are not satisfied with it, so I’d pass.

Ty all. I passed.

I’d like it as a stacker but not paired with your beautiful ER.

It really depends on what you were expecting.
if you were expecting milgrain: Then I am not sure if this is hand applied milgrain- it could be casted out this way. In a previous project of mine, I wanted milgrain and it was casted in. And, it looked the same way this ring looks.
If you were expecting beading- then my answer would be - that could be the look of that type of work.

If you are asking if it is a match for your ER-I think it works wells. I like diffenrt things- sometimes I like to match, other times I like them to be different.

But, from what I read in your post- I suspect that you don’t really like the ring against your ER.

It is trying to look like this www, or not; perlée is something else.
