I looked at a ring in Boston.this is a 3 stone oval shaped ring the center diamond is 2.69ct,H color SI 2 for 14,ooo.Is this a good deal? NO tax because I live in chicago.

Hello! You need to tell us soooo much more...

First, what's the weight of the sides? Second, do they have a report/certificate issued by an independent lab? Third, could you give us more details, like polish/symmetry, table, depth, fluorescence, measurements and so on?
