No way to tell without more information but the symmetry grade is not a good sign.

Neither is this.

I''d definetly pass on that one! There''s tons of stones out there, why settle for second best?

A lot, might be a bit optimistic.

It''s better, but I would really try and shoot for at least Very Good on both Polish and Symmetry, and preferably EX. And very thin-very thick is not what you want to see in a girdle. Thin, Med, Slightly thick or a combination of is preferred.

Are you looking locally or online? We''d love to help you find a stone, if you''d like.

I''m looking online. I live in Australia and am looking for something between $1000-$2000
I would love for someone to help me out as i am only new to this whole diamond grading thing...

It can be daunting to learn all the ins and outs.

Ok, let me see what I can find. In a well cut Princess, down to H is definitely safe, and I see you are already looking at lower clarities, which I would also recommend, as long as they''re eyeclean. Let''s see what I can come up with!

thank you so much. As long as its eyeclean and sparkles i dont mind

Welcome back John! Nice to see you around here again!

Need to always ask if eyeclean on anything below VS2.

Price listed does not reflect 2% PS discount.

There''s not a lot to choose from in the size category that I could find. But these are some very nice, affordable ones. Take a look and see what you think.

Thank You. I have had a look at whiteflash and the princess cut you recommended seems very nice
My only concerns with buying from the U.S are the shipping prices, tax and customs. Although ring may be cheaper than one from Oz, in the long run it might not be. but i will scope all that out i suppose.
i have foud this diamond online from an aussie company

I must do something wrong, as I was just there, using the search, and I wasn''t getting anything. And that has happened before.

Although in looking at those, I didn''t go below H or SI1.
HI:

It is your computer gremlin.....

I used prices as my only filter.....I like the I1. Looks pretty "clean" to me! Big bang for buck.

cheers--Sharon

There have been, and are, several Aussies who have purchased from the states, and post on here. They all say even with all the extra fees, it comes out cheaper, with a better diamond usually. However, I will also give you the link to Gary Holloway''s shop, which is over there. He posts on here, and is a nice guy. Not sure if you are close to him or not...

As for this diamond, it looks to have potential, but that''s really all we can say without more info, especially pics. And who is saying brightness, fire and scintillation are all ideal? Also, who graded the stone?

Hi there,
