While picking up a ring repair I made the mistake of browsing. One diamond in particular caught my eye and I can't stop thinking about it. It is a lower color grade and I was attracted to the warmth. It looked terrific and had an excellent cut.
When I got home I used "the tools". It has a 3.5 HCA and an AGA rating of 2B. The crown angle is 31.5 and it has a table of 58.9. It is a VS1 and has two small feathers at the girdle. My understanding from researching PS is that feathers in a VS1 are not a problem.[?]
What about the HCA? The diamond had outstanding performance in-store. I did not look at it -yet - in natural light.
I'm planning to go back to look at it again today if I get any thumbs up here...or I may just have to visit it anyway
