Is this a good diamond for the price?

I have learned a lot from reading the comments in this forum (thanks) and the articles in the site. From what I have learned I believe I''m getting a good price on the diamond below, but I would really appreciate it if I can get your feedback. I''m on limited budget, but I can spend an extra $1,000 if it will make a difference on the quality/size.

I''m planning on setting the diamond on a six prong 18k white gold solitaire setting (i''m open to suggestions in this area as well).

Seems like a normal price.

Pricing is not as easy as people think... what may seem arbitrary may have huge factors in price level.

Price does not seem out of line and the specs you''ve posted look good. The six prong setting is a classic and white gold is more economical than platinum so that seems reasonable too.
