Hi,

As a first timer, I have limited knowledge about diamonds. Looking for a good stone for an engagement ring.
Any comments are very welcome. Thanks a lot.

Here's the specs. I was given:

AGS Ideal 0
1.285 SI-1 F
Fluor N
Polish ID
Symmetry ID
Polish ID

Depth 61.2%
Table 57%
Crown angle 35.0
Pavilion angle 40.8
Girdle N-SK-F faceted 1.2% - 2.6%
Culet VS
Dimension 6.98 - 7.05 x 4.29

Some additional information:
(Depth from Table to Girdle 15%)
(Depth from Girdle to Culet 42.7%)

One thing I don't quite understand is that 15%+42.7%+(1.2-2.6)% doesn't quite add up to 61.2%

Quote:
$8,830.00

Thanks again!

I forgot to add this image at 10x. I understand that it is a SI-1 diamond, some say it is a good compromise. Question of the Pros, will this inclusion be obvious for the naked eyes? Thx again.

i would buy it.
Scores around 1.2 on HCA :)
the %'s are fine when you add in a girdle.

Thanks for the lightning quick advice and checking HCA score is a good idea.
There is a comparable one I just found after posting the previous msg.

1.282 F SI1 AGS0 (H&A)
61.2 54 34.8° 42.9%
0.7-1.2pt
Polish id Symetry id Flour no

With HCA, it scored 0.8-EX

$8520

This one looks a tad better on paber but no picture on the inclusions. Any second opinion will be very helpful. Thx in advance.

Hi JSummers,

I reckon the last stone is ACA from Whiteflash? They cut very nice diamonds with reasonable prices for this sort of branded goods; plus everything included (free shipping, diamond toolkit and no credit card surcharge). But choice is yours - shop around and decide for yourself.
