Hi Spinz.

The diameter measurements are a bit far apart (7.55 x 7.71). Can you double check those mm measurements and the given depth as well? With those diameter numbers, a 4.75 mm depth should be appx 62.9%.

John,

The Gia Report reads exactly 7.65 - 7.71 x 4.75 mm. It also reads the depth as 61.8%

however

The Sarin report shows reads Diameter (mm) 7.670 (7.63 - 7.70) 4.76mm and a depth of 62.1%....can you make sense of this? Thanks.

Spinz,

Ok, that makes sense. In your first post you listed 7.55 rather than 7.65 as your first diameter measurement. The numbers in your second post work together.

so does this look like a good deal? ideal proportions?

Price is good its low end online pricing for the weight class.
Its a bit deep but thats mainly the thick girdle.
Angles look good.
Have an IS image?
Have you seen it in person?
If you seen it in person and it speaks to you then thats all she wrote I see nothing that screams stop.

The price is good compared to diamonds with similar specs. The proportions fall into the traditional ideal range which has value. The crown height is on the shallow side of ideal, but that is not a problem if you are seeing the diamond and love the way it performs.

I live in NY and have seen it in person...it looks awesome...I thought total depths of 59.2% - 62.2% were ideal....so how is this stone a little deep?
