Is this a good deal for lightly used Tacori Engagement Ring?

I'm looking at purchasing a ring from Kijiji which is canadian online classified. I've purchased many things on here second hand with no issues. Came across the ring that I was looking for and am not sure if it's a fair price.

It's in CAD. I know that appraisals are usually way more than what the purchase priced would be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

This stone is too deep as it faces up more like a .80-.85 ct stone. You want excellent cut, because even within that range, some stones are much better than others.

$8700+ USD for a used ring with a .90 very good diamond is way too high. You can buy new Tacori rings that have been discontinued for very good prices. I am seeing .90 H SI1 GIA very good diamonds running $3000-3500 USD which would leave at least $5200 for the setting. That is not a good deal at all.

Similar diamond that is too deep:

These are measurements to help you stay in ideal cut territory with a GIA excellent cut stone.

table: 54-58

depth: 60-62.3

crown angle: 34-35.0 (up to 35.5 crown angle can sometimes work with a 40.6 pav angle)

pavilion angle: 40.6-40.9 (sometimes 41.0 if the crown angle is close to 34)
